Eagle Pass Border Ministries is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families in need who have made the difficult decision to leave their home countries due to life-threatening situations. For over 4 years, in collaboration with Lutheran Church San Lucas and with the support of the Southwestern Texas Synod (ELCA) Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we have been committed to providing aid, support, and compassion to migrants and travelers passing through our border community.

OUR VISION
At Eagle Pass Border Ministries, our vision is to be a beacon of hope and compassion for those embarking on difficult and risky journeys. We envision a world where migrants and travelers, facing life-threatening situations in their home countries, find solace and support as they pass through our border community. Our mission is to provide tangible assistance such as warm meals, clothing, and essential personal care items, along with emotional and spiritual support, to alleviate some of the hardships faced by those in need. We aspire to foster a sense of solidarity and understanding, embracing diversity and standing in solidarity with individuals on their journey to seek safety and a better life."
WHAT WE DO
At Eagle Pass Border Ministries, we are committed to providing practical assistance and emotional support to individuals and families in need who have chosen to embark on challenging journeys to seek safety and a better life. Our efforts focus on:
1. Offering Relief: We provide essential aid such as warm meals, clothing, and personal care items to alleviate the immediate needs of migrants and travelers passing through our border community.
2. Extending Compassion: We offer emotional and spiritual support to those facing difficult circumstances, aiming to provide comfort and encouragement during their journey.
3. Fostering Solidarity: We stand in solidarity with migrants and travelers, recognizing their courage and resilience, and advocating for compassion and understanding within our community.
